Phyllis (Briggs) Garvey

Phyllis (Briggs) Garvey, wife of the late William C. Garvey, age 85, passed away on Friday March 26, 2010 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA. She was formerly of Sandwich, MA and Abington, MA. Phyllis was a graduate of Braintree High School Class of 1942. She was a retired secretary.
She is survived by her two sons and their wives, William A. Garvey and Ellen Scott of West Chatham, MA and Carleton W. Garvey and Beverly of Whitman, MA. Phyllis is also survived by two grandchildren William C. Garvey of Abington and Erin Garvey of Whitman, along with two great grandchildren, Kaitlin and Shane Garvey of Hanson.
A private service was held at the CC Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA on Wednesday March 31st. Burial will be held this spring at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison, Maine.
