Lori (Arena) Burgess, age 41, passed away at her home on Friday March 26, 2010. Lori was survived by her husband Arthur Burgess, her 3 daughters; Christine N. Burgess, Erin M. Burgess and Zoie A. Burgess all of Weymouth, her brother Francis Arena of Weymouth, her step-father Fred Watkins of Brockton, her aunt and uncle Bob and Kathy Woodyard of Plymouth and her dear friends Lorraine King of Weymouth, Michael Taylor of Quincy and Michele Connaire of Weymouth. She is also the sister-in-law of Donna Burgess of Boston, Norma Burgess of Brockton and Joanne Burgess of Florida and has many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Burgess is predeceased by her parents; Francis P. Arena Sr. and Christine Arena Watkins. Lori was born in Boston, grew up in Quincy and has lived in Weymouth for the last 11 years. She was an Office Manager and Accountant at Kerr Offset Printing of Pembroke for 23 years. Lori was a Girl Scout Leader for Troop 3 in Weymouth for 3 years. The Funeral will be from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday March 30 at 9 A.M. The Funeral Mass will be at the St. Francis Xavier Church, 261 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth at 10 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Monday from 4 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lori’s memory to the Burgess Family Fund c/o Stoughton Cooperative Bank, 950 Park St. Stoughton, MA 02072.
