Dean C. Buckley owner of DHS Sell-Out Center died peacefully at home with his family. Dean was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1957 to the late Lorraine and Robert Buckley and lived his childhood years in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He graduated from Montserrat School of Art and pursued many different careers such as painting, acting, and a flight attendant while living all over the country.
Dean found his passion and opened his own store in Atlanta, Ga. in 1990. This store has been a fixture in the Atlanta community for the past 20 years. He was always very proud of all the unique things that can be found in his store and enjoyed finding those amazing treasures. Dean was most proud of employing so many people so that they could provide for their families. He loved giving people chances and thought of all the people in his company as his family and loved them all.
Dean traveled through out the world whenever possible and has many friends all over. However he always came home to Massachusetts to visit his family. He leaves his brothers and their families Robert Buckley, Joy Buckley of Weymouth, Wayne and Debra Buckley of East Bridgewater and Mark and Susan Buckley of Weymouth and his all important nieces and nephews Mark, Laura, Taryn, Craig, Stacey, Stephanie, Bobby, Cole and his mother Linda Mason. He also leaves his longtime companion his dog Carleton.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant Street (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth on Tuesday February 9 from 4 to 8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Nativity Church, 8 Nevin Rd. South Weymouth Wednesday February 10 at 10 AM.
