Roy E. Strong a longtime resident of Weymouth died suddenly Monday morning December 21 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth,MA after being stricken with a heart attack at home on Monday. He was 63 years old . A retired mechanic with Poloriod Corp.he was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Ells) Strong. He was the loving father of Stacey (Strong) Rieckenhoff and her husband Germa'n of San Juan Puerto Rico and Thomas Strong and his wife Tricia of Chicago. Brother of Lee Schelin of Sturbridge, MA, Tina Spade of Chittenango, NY, Henry Strong of New Zealand and the late Robert Strong. Also survived by his grandchildren Taylor & Caitlin Strong and Alex, Sebastian & Sophia Rieckehoff. Visiting hours will be held at the C.C.Shepard Funeral Home 134 Pleasant Street South Weymouth, MA (directions www.ccshepherd.com) on Sunday December 27 from 3-8pm. Relatives and friends invited.
