Elmer L. Baird

Elmer L. Baird, age 87, passed away at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital on Saturday October 24. Elmer is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia (Daniele) Baird, his 6 children Beverly Farrell and her husband Bob of Weymouth, Sheryl Murphy and her husband Steve of Weymouth, Cindy Locke and her husband Jim of Hanover, Ken Baird and his wife Edmea of Braintree, Philip Baird and his partner Len of NJ and Robbie Baird of Weymouth, his brother Donald Baird of S. Weymouth, 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons and 5 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by 1 son; Elmer Lawrence Baird Jr. Elmer was born in Malden and lived in S. Weymouth for the last 80 years. He was the owner of Elmer L. Baird Rubbish Removal in Weymouth for the last 60 years. Elmer was a member of the Old South Union Congregational Church in Weymouth. A Funeral Service will be held at the Old South Union Congregational Chapel, 25 Columbian St. S. Weymouth on Friday October 30 at 11 A.M. Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Elmer’s memory to the Old South Union Congregational Church 25 Columbian St. S.
