Elizabeth A. Walsh

Elizabeth A. (Poinsett) Walsh, age 89, passed away at her daughter’s home in Chester, VT on Friday October 2, 2009. Elizabeth was the wife of the late George E. Walsh Sr. She is the mother of George E. Walsh Jr. of Norwell, Linda L. Marvin of Wichita, KS, Richard A. Walsh of Attleboro and Kathryn E. Toye of Chester, VT. Elizabeth is also survived by 2 sisters, Shirley Tedeschi and Gloria Goodspeed both of Abington, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by a grandson, Michael McIsaac. Elizabeth was born in Watertown and lived most of her life in Weymouth before moving to Chester, VT 1 ½ years ago. Mrs. Walsh was a meat wrapper for A&P Supermarket in Weymouth for 20 years and the Farmer’s Market in Abington for 3 years. Visiting will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday October 9 from10 to 11 A.M. immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11 A.M.
