Maurice Laderoute, age 68, passed away at the Kindred Hospital in Brighton. Maurice is survived by his wife of 43 years, Reine (Laroche) Laderoute, his 2 daughters, Michelle Murray and her husband Edward of Newton and Danielle Ames and her husband Stephen of Weymouth, his 5 grandchildren Madeline Laderoute, Nicholas Ames, Colin Ames, Edward Murray and Sophie Ames and 3 sisters and 1 brother all of Canada. Mr. Laderoute is predeceased by his son Steven Laderoute formerly of Weymouth. Maurice was born in Valleyfield, Canada and moved to the United States for employment where he lived in New York and Pennsylvania. He lived in Hull for 25 years before moving to Weymouth for the last 5 years. Mr. Laderoute was an Iron Worker who worked on the Hancock Building and the Prudential Center before starting his own business, Nantasket Formes in Hull installing house foundations. He retired in 1993. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Church, 55 Commercial St. Weymouth Landing on Saturday October 10 at 9:30 A.M. Interment will be private. Arrangements made with the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. Donations may be made in Maurice’s memory to the American Diabetes Association 330 Congress St. 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02110.
