Helen R. (Rebenack) Wentzel of Weymouth and Rockland passed away on July 15, 2009 at the age of 89. Helen was born in Wilkinsburg, PA and was a graduate of Crafton, PA High School class of 1938. She moved to Weymouth with her husband, the late Earl Wentzel in 1948 where she enjoyed her home and church. She was a long time resident of Weymouth and had been a bank officer at South Shore Savings Bank where she worked for 25 years. Helen was an active member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Weymouth and Rockland. She was also a member of P.E.O. and the Lady Slippers miniature group. Helen is survived by her devoted daughters, Susan Rhodes and her husband Everett of Bridgewater and Kathryn Robinson and her husband Clyde of Weymouth. She is the loving grandmother of Heather and Robert Ivil, II, Todd and Victoria Robinson, Darrell Rhodes, Keith Robinson and Amara Robinson; cherished great grandmother of Robert Ivil, III, and Hannah Ivil. She is also the loving sister of Edith Garner and the late John Rebenack and the aunt of Edward Garner, Christine Hayes and Beatrice Rebenack. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service in the Chapel of the Old South Union Congregational Church, 25 Columbian St. S. Weymouth on August 1 at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers donations in Helen’s memory may be made to P.O.E.
