Ruth D. Taylor

Ruth (Draksley) Taylor, age 72, passed away on Saturday June 20, 2009 surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. Retired in 2005 as a CNA for the Colonial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Weymouth. Ruth loved spending Time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoyed having fun and if it was crazy she was involved. Beloved mother of William Pratt and his wife Diane Pratt of Effingham, NH, James Pratt and his wife Karen Pratt of Weymouth, Nancy Robertson and her husband Thyde Robertson of Weymouth. Loving sister of Jeanie McDuffie of Gloversville, NY, William Draksley and Richard Koch both of Florida. Loving grandmother of Kristy and Malissa Pratt and Tasha and Joshua Hill. Great grandmother of Janaiah, Kalee, William and Joshua. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to the visiting hour at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday June 27 from 10 to 11 A.M. and the Funeral Service at 11 A.M. Interment will immediately follow in the Village Cemetery in Weymouth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to the American Heart / American Stroke Association P.O.
