Rose M. Murpy

Rose M. (Cristafulli) Murphy passed away at the Southwood of Norwell Nursing Facility on June 11, 2009 at the age of 91. Rose is survived by her 2 sons, James M. Murphy of Hingham and Francis Murphy of Marco Island, FL, her 2 sisters Grace Ross of NH and Frances Mulhall of Arlington, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was born in Boston and was a long time resident of North Weymouth. Rose was one of the first Weymouth School Bus Drivers for the Hudson Bus Company. She was an office manager for the State Welfare Office for many years. The Funeral will be from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday June 16 at 9 A.M. followed by the Funeral Mass at the St. Albert the Great Church, 1140 Washington St. Weymouth at 10 A.M. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 4to8 P.M.
