Rita A. (Sweeney) Donovan

Rita Gannymom/GG formally of Braintree passed away on June 5th 2009 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 61. Rita is survived by her long time companion John Rossi of Quincy, her former husband Kevin M Donovan of Rockland, her children Elaine M Imbrogna (White) of Weymouth, and Kevin C Donovan of Rockland, her grandchildren Caitlin, Chris, Richard, Tiffany, Stephanie, Cathy, Tanya, Jackie, Rosie and Dylan, her great grandson Connor and her beloved dogs Gizzie, Casper and Thunder. Rita was born in Boston and lived in Braintree most of her life until she found her sanctuary in Sagamore Beach. Rita was an extraordinary woman who would do anything for anybody and always put her family before herself. She will be missed by all who knew her. Visiting will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday 3 to 5:30 P.M. immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 5:30.
