Marjorie F. Ellis

Marjorie Ellis, a life long resident of Weymouth, passed away at Pope Nursing Home on May 7, 2009 at the age of 89. Marjorie was survived by her sister, Jean Griffiths of SC, her brother-in-law, Earl Morse of Quincy and 28 nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Marge was born in her family home in Weymouth where she resided most of her life. She was a Medical Secretary at the Boston University Medical Center for 30 years working for Dr. Kramer and Dr. Ingelfinger before retiring in 1984. Marjorie was the Mother Advisor of Weymouth Rainbow Assembly # 19 for many years and a Trustee of the Mayflower Chapter of Eastern Star. She was a past President of the Unity Club of the Unitarian Universalist Church. Friends and relatives are invited to the Funeral at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 83 Sea St. (Bicknell Sq.) N. Weymouth on Tuesday May 12 at 10 A.M. Visiting hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Monday from 3 to 7 P.M. Interment will be in The Old North Cemetery in N. Weymouth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marge’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472.
