Robert “Bob” D. Palma age 81 passed away on Saturday April 4, 2009 at the Coyne Health Care in Rockland. Bob was born in Quincy and lived in Weymouth for the last 60 years. He was the husband of the late Jean L. (Leslie) Palma, the loving father of Debra and her Husband David Walsh of East Weymouth, William and his wife Wendy Palma of Weymouth, Donna Cary and her husband Paul of Haverhill and the late Robert “Bobby” Palma and the loving brother of Russell Palma of Dedham, Dolly Coughlin of Quincy and Angie Nota of Rockland. He is also survived by his beloved 15 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Bob lived in Quincy and attended North Quincy High School upon finishing High School he Joined the U.S. Navy Seabees during WW II. He was a Mechanic for many years at various locations including Poland Service Station in Cohasset and Checker Cab Company in Boston. He retired from the Weymouth Housing Authority were he was a foreman. A Graveside Service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Friday April 10 at 11 A.M. Friends and relatives are invited to Hajjar’s Restaurant, 969 Washington St. Weymouth, 781-340-1870 on Friday at 1 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
