Leon E. Galley

Leon “Lee” E. Galley passed away after a brief illness on February 21, 2009 at the age of 78. Leon is the husband of the late Lillian (McCambley) Galley and the late Lorraine (Willie) Galley. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Lorie Maloney of Taunton, Linda Galley of San Diego, CA and Lee A. Baker of North Port, FL, 3 brothers, Bill Galley, Eddie Galley and Bobby Galley and 1 sister Frances Berlo. Mr. Galley also leaves 6 grandchildren. Lee was born in Boston, and lived in the Boston area for many years before moving to Abington 2 years ago. He was an Oil Burner Technician for many years for the Simonelli and Sons Oil Company in Brockton. Friends and relatives are invited to the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday February 26 at 10 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Bridgewater. Donations may be made in Leon’s memory to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
