Robin M. DeYoung-Dunton passed away from a struggle with drug addiction on Saturday January 10, 2009 at the age of 33. She was the wife of Robert Dunton of Quincy and the beloved daughter of Elaine (Hurley) DeYoung of Weymouth and the late William F. DeYoung. Robin leaves 2 treasured sisters, Michelle DeYoung and Amy DeYoung both of Weymouth, several aunts, uncles and cousins and is the cherished aunt of Ryan, Mia, Alexander and Rory. She was born and grew up in South Boston and lived in Braintree for 3 years, prior to moving to Weymouth. Robin graduated from Braintree High School in 1993 and Quincy College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She worked at South Shore Daycare in Weymouth and Mulberry Childcare in Hanover. Friends and relatives are invited to the funeral from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday January 16 at 8:30 A. M. and the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Church, 55 Commercial St. Weymouth Landing at 9:30 A.M. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2to4 and 7to9 P.M.
