Donald E. Meyer

Donald E. Meyer passed away at the South Shore Hospital on December 21, 2008 at the age of 62. Mr. Meyer is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ann (Manning) Meyer, his 4 children; Donald Gustafson of Weymouth, Michelle Gustafson of Weymouth, Caroline O’Connor of Houston, TX and Peter Gustafson of Rockland, 3 brothers Douglas Meyer of Weymouth, Dennis Meyer of Westborough, David Meyer of Brockton and Darlene Meyer of Brockton, 5 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Daniel Meyer and his sister Cassandra Meyer. Don was born in Lexington, NB and spent most of his life in Weymouth before moving to Rockland 2 years ago. Mr. Meyer worked as an Iron Worker for Local 7 for over 30 years before retiring in 2005. He was as Air Force Sergeant during Vietnam. Funeral Services will be private at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth.
