Mildred R. Berry

Mildred (Woodward) Berry passed away at the South Shore Hospital on September 30, 2008 after a long illness at the age of 81. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Charles L. Berry who was her devoted caregiver for the last 7 years as she suffered from Alzheimer’s, her loving son David B. Berry and his wife Kristen Chau of Medford and her sister in-law, Valerie Berry of Holbrook. She was the aunt of Melissa Robie and Lynn Berry both of Holbrook and Sandra Flanagan of Braintree and the great aunt of Christine and Christopher Robie Jr. Mildred was born in Everett and lived in Randolph for many years where she graduated from Randolph Stetson High School in 1944 and worked as a Bookkeeper at a local bank in Randolph. She moved to Rockland in 1966. Mildred worked in Brockton as a salesperson at the Morton Shoe Company and the Singer Sewing Machine Company in the West Gate Mall. Mrs. Berry was a former member of the New England Bonsai Tree Association. Friends and Relatives are invited to the visiting hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday October 4 from 9 to 11 A.M. and the Funeral at 11 A.M at the funeral home. Internment will be in Union Cemetery in Holbrook.
