Leonard "Buddy" Barnes

Leonard “Buddy” Barnes, a life long resident of Weymouth passed away at his home in Weymouth on Wednesday May 21 at the age of 63. Buddy leaves behind his loving daughter, Amy Roldan of Walpole, his loving son, Leonard R. Barnes of Pembroke, 2 sisters, Barbara Leona Perry of Rockland and Pauline L. Clark of Florida and 4 ½ grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Leonard and Barbara (Tirrell) Barnes and his sister, Sandra Snell all of Weymouth. Leonard was a manager for Hunt News Agency in Weymouth and later a district manager the P. O’Kane News Company in Randolph for 30 years, retiring in 1998. Buddy loved playing bingo anywhere that he was able to go. Friends and relatives are invited to the funeral at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday May 28 at 11 A.M. and the visiting hours on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
