Eleanor B. Silveira passed away at the Nemasket Health Care Center in Middleboro on Wednesday May 14, 2008. She is the wife of the late Joseph Silveira. Her son Brian Silveira also predeceases her. Mrs. Silveira is survived by 2 grandchildren, Alicia Cavanaugh of Midlothian, VA and Gregory Silveira of North Hampton, MA and her daughter in law and son in law, Jacqueline and Ernest Lamoureax of Middleboro. Eleanor was born in Rochester, NH, grew up in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH and has lived in S. Weymouth since 1957. She loved horseback riding and was engaged to her husband Joe while on horseback. Mrs. Silveira was the Tracy Dean girl for Tedeschi’s Stores for several years and a salesperson at A&T Northeast Allied movers in Braintree for many years. She volunteered at South Shore Hospital, was a very active member of the Holy Nativity Church in S. Weymouth, loved to dance and loved Frank Sinatra. Friends and relatives are invited to the funeral at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday May 21 at 10:30 A.M. The visiting hours are on Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH.
