Catherine Carleen

Catherine Carleen passed away at the Southwood at Norwell Nursing Center on Thursday March 27, 2008 at the age of 91. Catherine was the wife of the late Forrest J. Carleen. She is survived by 4 children, Robert Carleen and his wife Linda of Pensacola, FL, Catherine Grass and her husband Robert of S. Weymouth, John Carleen of Reading and Peter Carleen and his wife Colleen Maloney of Plymouth. Catherine was also survived by 7 grandchildren, Margaret, Bradford, Emily, Molly and Jacqueline Carleen all of Reading and Andrew and Jacob Carleen both of Plymouth. Mrs. Carleen was born and grew up in St. Paul, MN and has lived in S. Weymouth since 1968. She was a Secretary in the Medical Records Department at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for 12 Years before retiring in 1981.Catherine was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church. Friends and relatives are invited to the Funeral at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday April 1 at 8:45 A.M. and the Funeral Mass at the St. Francis Xavier Church at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Catherine’s memory to the Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326 Plymouth, MA 02360.
