Dr. Barbara (Durkee) Desrosiers

Dr. Barbara Desrosiers, Professor Emeritus at Worcester State College for 25 years passed away at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute on Friday March 21 at the age of 72. Barbara is survived by her husband Richard D. Desrosiers, 1 daughter, Karen Low and her husband Dave of Boxford, MA and 1 sister Linda Cappers and her husband Stephan of Saco, ME. She also leaves 3 grandsons; Kevin, Eric and Michael Low all of Boxford. Dr. Desrosiers was born in Brockton, lived in S. Weymouth for 23 years, Worcester for 25 years and Sandwich for 7 years before moving to Salem, SC 4 years ago. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Church of the Holy Nativity, 8 Nevin Rd. S. Weymouth on Thursday March 27 at 10 A.M. and the visiting hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday 6 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Weymouth.
