Theresa M. Crawford

Theresa M. (Bowles) Crawford passed away at her home in S. Weymouth on March 16, 2008 at the age of 80. Theresa is survived by 1 daughter, Diane M. White of Taunton and 2 sons; Steven Crawford and Richard Crawford both of Weymouth. She was the sister of Dorothy Barry of Abington, William Bowles of Quincy, Mary Demetri of Wareham and Jack Bowles of Cap Cod. Mrs. Crawford also leaves 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Scott J. Crawford of Weymouth. Theresa was born in Boston and spent the last 54 years in Weymouth. She graduated from the Jeremiah E. Burke High School at the age of 15 in 1943. Mrs. Crawford was the Assistant Tax Collector for the Town of Weymouth for 21 years before retiring in 1995. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday March 18 from 4 to 8 P.M. A Funeral Service will be private. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth. Donations may be made in Theresa’s memory to the St. Joseph’s Indian School, Chamberlain, SD 57326.
