Elizabeth L. Gregory

Elizabeth L. Gregory passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the age of 99. Mrs. Gregory is survived by 1 daughter, Joanna Gregory of Weymouth and 1 niece, Joyce Ceurvels of Plymouth. Elizabeth was born in Boston and spent most of her life in Weymouth. After graduating from Weymouth High School and Hyannis Normal School she became a teacher and taught 4th grade mostly in the Homestead School in Weymouth for 35 years before retiring in 1973. She was a member of the National Education Association, the Massachusetts Teachers Association, the Abigail Adams Historical Society, and the AARP. She enjoyed gardening. Friends and relatives are invited to a Prayer Service at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday March 12 at 10 A.M.
