Andrew A. Chisholm Jr.

Andrew A. Chisholm passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Tuesday March 4, 2008 at the age of 75. Mr. Chisholm is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Doris (Green) Chisholm, 1 son, Roger Chisholm of S. Weymouth, 1 Sister Florine Freitas of North Easton 5 nephews and 1 niece. Andrew was a life long resident of Weymouth. After graduating from Weymouth High School in 1951 he took a job at Holmes and Edwards Architects in Boston. While working at Holmes and Edwards he enrolled at the Boston Architectural Center Night School from 1951 to 1954. Mr. Chisholm retired from Holmes and Edwards in 1991 and became a part time Architectural Consultant working on small local projects. Andy was a state licensed construction supervisor for many years. He was a Town Meeting Member in Weymouth in Precinct 7 from 1967 to 1981 and then Precinct 12 until 1994. Andrew had a passion for the Red Sox. Mr. Chisholm was a member of the South Shore Hospital Cardiac Group and the South Shore Hospital Stroke Group. Friends and relatives are invited to the Funeral at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Monday March 10 at 11 A.M. and the visiting hours on Sunday 4to8 P.M. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth.
