Helen L. Cooper

Helen L. Cooper passed away at the South Shore Hospital on Friday February 29, 2008 at the age of 73. She was the wife of the late James A Cooper. Helen is the beloved mother of 4 sons; Stephen A. Cooper, John J. Cooper, James P. Cooper and Robert J. Cooper and 2 daughters; Doris J. McKinnon and her husband Fran and Lynne M. Dunlap and her husband John. Mrs. Cooper is also survived by 3 sisters; Mary, Gert and Dottie and 13 grandchildren. She was a special friend of Denise Mattos and Debra and Susan Ashe. Helen was born in Boston, grew up on Cape Cod and lived at her Daughter Doris’ house for the last 3 years. She graduated from Howe High School in Billerica in 1952 and Boston City Hospital Nursing School in 1982. Mrs. Cooper worked for many south shore Nursing Homes before retiring in 1998.
