John Lovendale

John Lovendale passed away at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a long illness on January 28 at the age of 78. He is the father of 5 children; John Lovendale of Whitman, Beth McHoul of Haiti, William Lovendale of Maine, Kathleen Shaw of Carver and Charleen Villari of Weymouth. John is the brother of Carl Lovendale of Weymouth and is also loved and survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by one son Donald Lovendale. Mr. Lovendale was born in Dorchester and lived in Weymouth most of his life. He was a former Merchant Marine Seaman, a Sprinkler Fitter for fire safety equipment for many years and ended his career as a Building Maintenance Supervisor in Boston. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a funeral service at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S.
