Doris E. (Crocker) Lang-Dobbyn passed away at the Green Briar Nursing Home in Nashua New Hampshire on Saturday January 25, 2008 at the age of 82. Doris was born in Boston, grew up in Dorchester and was a 60 year resident of Weymouth before moving to assisted living in Nashua, NH in 2001. She was the wife of the late Gordon Lang and the late Robert Dobbyn. She is survived by 4 grandchildren; Belinda Yeaton of Mont Vernon, NH, Monica Wright of Aberdeen, MD, Alexander Linck of Manchester, NH and Nathaniel Linck of Vail, CO and 6 great grandchildren. Mrs. Lang-Dobbyn was predeceased by 2 children, Gail Linck formerly of Hudson, NH and David Lang formerly of Weymouth. Doris was a past president of the Weymouth Garden Club and a past member of the Mayflower Chapter order of Eastern Star in Weymouth. Mrs. Lang-Dobbyn was a life long artist and taught art classes in painting and stained glass in her home in Weymouth. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday January 30 at 11 A.M. and visiting hours on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester.
