Albert J. Richardson passed away at the Brockton Veterans Hospital on Monday January 7, 2008 at the age of 87. Mr. Richardson is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ann (Bray) Richardson. He is also survived by 2 sons, Albert J. Richardson and his wife Judith of Abington and G. Dennis Richardson and his wife Debby of Minot and 2 daughters, Ann M. Pfeffer and her husband Skip of Canton and Sandra J. Richardson of Plymouth. He was the grandfather of Robin Mullin and her husband John of S. Weymouth, Sherri Duggan and her husband Mark of S. Weymouth, Jill Steidle-Abbett and her husband Dan of East Bridgewater, Jodi Comeau and her husband Gene of Rockland, Scott Pfeffer and his wife Kelly of Canton, Kyle O’Leary and her husband Craig of Canton, Laurie Amonte and her husband Tony of Humarock, Dennis M. Richardson and Robert B. Richardson both of Minot. Mr. Richardson was the son of the late George and Isabelle Richardson and brother of the late George W. Richardson. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Richardson was born in Waltham, grew up in Roxbury and lived in S. Weymouth for the last 60 years. Albert was a Lieutenant in the Navy where he was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam retiring in 1970 after 30 years of service. He was a 32nd degree mason with the Mount Lebanon Lodge in Boston and a lifetime member of the NRA. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday January 10 from 3to7 P.M. followed immediately by a funeral service at 7 P.M. Interment will be private in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
