Mary "Polly" Lund

Mary “Polly” Lund died at South Shore Hospital on Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the age of 83. Mrs. Lund is the wife of the late Allen L. Lund. Polly is survived by 3 children, Pamela A. Fasci and her husband Richard of Middleboro, Eric J. Lund and his wife Lori of Bloomington, IN and Candace A. Barrie and her husband David of Carver and 4 grandchildren James Fasci, Edward Barrie, Peter Barrie and Alanna Barrie. Mrs. Lund lived in South Weymouth for the last 51 years and was active with the St. Francis Xavier Church’s drum corps, the Sancians in Weymouth for many years. Her greatest joy was selling candy as a volunteer at the South Shore Hospital Gift Shop for over 25 years. She was also employed by the Sheraton Tara Hotel Gift Shop in Braintree. Friends and Relatives are invited to attend Visiting Hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday January 2 from 4to8 P.M. and the graveside Service on Thursday January 3 at 10 A.M. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Off Connery Ave. in Bourne.
