Christopher S. Robie Sr. passed away at his home in Holbrook on Sunday, December 23 at the age of 39. Chris is the loving husband of Melissa Jean (Berry) Robie and is the devoted father of Christine Marie Robie and Christopher Scott Robie Jr. both of Holbrook. Mr. Robie is the son of Carol (Andre) Robie of Hanover and the late James A. Robie. He is the son in law of Valerie (Pedro) Berry of Holbrook and the late Richard Berry. Chris is survived by his brothers and sisters, Debra (Robie) Bennett and her husband Bill “Spark” of Marshfield, James Robie of CA, John Robie and his wife Edna of Marshfield, Joanne (Robie) Duflock of FL, Denise Robie of Hingham and Caroline (Robie) Glover and her husband Chris of Brockton and is the Brother in law of Lynn McCarthy and her husband Stephen of Holbrook, Steven Berry of Weymouth and Sandra Flannery and her husband Thomas of Braintree. He is the special fishing buddy of Dave Thrasher, Jeff Calabrese and Kevin Calabrese all of Bridgewater, James Harling of Carver and Joseph Pedro Jr. of Middleboro. He also has many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Chris was born in S. Weymouth and lived in Holbrook for the last 30 years and was a jack of all trades in the South Shore Area. Friends and relatives are invited to attend Visiting Hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday December 27 from 5to8 P.M. Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Chris’s Children C/O Melissa Robie, 19 Alder Rd. Holbrook, MA 02343.
