Susan Beth Rivers

Susan Beth Rivers of Braintree passed away on October 31 at her home at the age of 54. Susan was the beloved daughter of Claire E. Rivers of Abington and the late Arthur E. Rivers. She is also survived by her sister Janet Rivers Davis of El Paso, TX, her two brothers, David A. Rivers of Sanbornton, NH, and Stephen W. Rivers of Groveland, MA and several nieces and nephews as well as many loving friends. Susan also has one late brother Bruce A. Rivers. She was born in Trieste, Italy where her father was stationed while in the Army. Susan graduated from the Hanover High School in Hanover, NH in 1971, attended the Grand Canyon College in Phoenix, AZ and Suffolk University in Boston as well as a 2 year course at the Computer Learning Center in Boston. Ms. Rivers graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. She was a Senior Telecommunications Specialist at Boston Financial Data Services in Quincy where she worked for 20 years. Susan Tutored for several years in the Adult Tutoring Program of Quincy and was known for her innovative and successful methods of teaching. A Memorial Service will be held at the Old South Union Congregational Church, 25 Columbian St. S. Weymouth on Saturday November 10 at 10 A.M.
