Anthony F. Mannai a life long resident of Quincy passed away at the age of 80 at the John Scott Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Braintree on October 25, 2007. Mr. Mannai was the brother of Italo J. Mannai of Pembroke, Nedo V. Mannai of Hingham and the late Ray Mannai. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Tony was a men’s clothing salesman at Jordan Marsh in Boston for 38 years before retiring in 1990. He graduated from Quincy High School and was a World War 2 Navy Veteran. Family and friends are invited to the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Monday October 29 at 9 A.M. to go to a Funeral Mass at the St. John the Baptist Church, 44 School St. Quincy at 10 A.M. and visiting Hours Sunday 2to5 P.M. Interment will be in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy. Donations may be made in Tony’s memory to Beacon Hospice c/o Lighthouse Hospice Foundation, 529 Main St. Suite 101, Boston, MA 02129.
