Ernest "Ted" Taylor

Taylor Ernest T. “Ted” of East Weymouth, on July 5, 2007, in his 74th year after a long battle with Lymphoma. Loving husband for 53 years of Lois M. (Larson) Taylor. Devoted father of Glen P. Taylor of Plymouth, Victoria T. Cirignano and Gina M. Rush both of Weymouth. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He retired from the Weymouth Fire Department as a Lieutenant and was well known for his business Omni Aeromarine, small engine repair. He was a private Pilot, Amateur Radio Operator, K1LSV, and an avid Sailor, a member of the South Shore Yacht Club. He graduated from Quincy High School and in later years achieved a Bachelors Degree at the University of Massachusetts. A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St. (Colombian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Monday July 9 at 11 A.M. Visiting Hours Sunday 4to8 P.M. Donations may be made in Ted’s memory to the Weymouth Firefighter’s Union Local 1616, 636 Broad St. E.
