Paul Bersani

Paul R. “Paulie” Bersani, age 79, of Weymouth passed away on Sunday May 29, 2022. Paul was born and raised in Weymouth and attended Sacred Heart where he played baseball and basketball. Then graduated in 1959. He then attended Quincy Junior College and Suffolk College where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Paul also served in the Military Police for the United States Army after high school.

Paul worked as a math teacher for 33 years in Holbrook Elementary Schools and retired as principal after pioneering the school’s computer program. Paul was an avid golfer, with the highlight of his golfing endeavors being able to attend the Masters Tournament. Paul was also a member of th e Weymouth Elks for many years.

Paul was known for excellent work ethic but will be remembered most for his caring and humble demeanor. Paul is predeceased by his parents Carl Bersani Sr and Virginia Bersani (Ken). He is survived by his brother Carl Bersani Jr. and his wife Patricia of Weymouth, his sister Virginia Bersani-McCoy of Raynham, and his many loving nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and also great-great-nieces and nephews.
