Marion "Tootsie" Rinaldi-Chinzi

Marion E. “Tootsie” Rinaldi-Chinzi, age 80, of N. Weymouth passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Marion was born in Quincy then raised and educated in Weymouth graduating from Weymouth High in 1959. She married her first husband, John Rinaldi, in 1961 and they settled in Weymouth where they raised a family.

Marion loved working in the hospitality industry, she started tending bar at the Club Car and then spent many years at Vin and Eddie’s in S. Weymouth.

Marion married her husband, Joseph Chinzi, in 2002 and they have lived in Weymouth together since. She enjoyed flipping real estate and redecorating. She was also a talented painter, enjoyed tending to her yard, and volunteering.

Marion was predeceased by her husband John Rinaldi Sr., she is survived by her husband Joseph Chinzi of N. Weymouth, her children John Rinaldi Jr. and his wife Gail Meade-Rinaldi of Carver, James Rinaldi and his wife Judy of Hingham, her granddaughter Sophia, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marion is also the sister of Carol Lane, Patricia Simonton, and Barbara Leigh Trop.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Marion on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 4-8pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Friends will gather Friday Morning at 9:45am at Old South Union Church located at 25 Columbian St. Weymouth, MA for the funeral service which will begin promptly at 10am. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
