Peter Bisognano

Peter Bisognano, a lifelong resident of Weymouth passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on April 28, 2022. Peter graduated from Weymouth High School class of 1952. He enjoyed a successful career at the Instron Corporation for over 40 years.

Peter enjoyed coaching the youth of Weymouth which included farm league baseball, St Albert’s Church league basketball, Weymouth Junior basketball and summer hoop. He was president of the Weymouth junior basketball league for 20 years. He was football announcer for Weymouth High School for many years. Peter was often referred to as “Mr. Weymouth”. He was a proud member of the Weymouth-Braintree Elks for 45 years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Peter was the beloved husband of June (Robbins) Bisognano for 51 years. Devoted father to Peter Bisognano and his fiancé Nadine Rudek of Dartmouth and Lori Kettell and her husband Scott of Weymouth. Loving Grandfather to Scott, Luke, Alexis Kettell and Benjamin Bisognano.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Peter on Wednesday May 4, 2022, from 4 to 8 in the evening at the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, Weymouth (Columbian Sq.). A Celebration of Life will take place at the funeral home at 9AM Thursday May 5, 2022, before a funeral mass at St. Albert the Great Church at 10AM. Burial at Mt.
