John Bonfilio

John E. Bonfilio Sr., age 55, of S. Weymouth passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. John was born in Boston then raised and educated in Avon. He graduated Southeastern Voc Tech in 1985 and then immediately started working in HVAC maintenance which he worked in his entire life, most recently at Healthcare Trust of America.

John was a very kind person who enjoyed telling stories and making people laugh. He enjoyed boating, being on the water, trips to Maine and never turned down an ice cream sundae but, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends

John is survived by his parents Ralph Bonfilio of Plymouth and Pauline (McBride) Molinari of Wareham, his partner Susan DeSalvo of S. Weymouth, his former wife Dani Bonfilio of Florida, his children Cori-Anne Bonfilio of Florida and the late John Bonfilio Jr., his grandchildren Avery, Liam, and Hope, and his brothers Ralph J. Bonfilio Jr. of Thailand, Daniel J. Bonfilio of Brockton, and Paul F. Bonfilio and his wife Maryann of Plymouth. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the memorial visiting hours for John on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from Noon-3pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A funeral service will begin immediately following the visitation at 3pm in the funeral home.
