Paul ‘Bink’ Binkley, age 69, of Rockland and formerly of Weymouth, passed away at home with loving family by his side on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Bink was raised and educated in Dedham where he graduated high school in 1969. He then served for seven years in the Navy Reserves while attending Butera Art School.
Bink worked as a meat cutter at Stop and Shop and Roche Brothers for many years and used his art skills to own and operate Bink’s Custom Signs for over 25 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing guitar, but most of all loved spending time with family and friends. Bink loved Christmas had fond memories of setting up a Christmas Tree at Fairmount Cemetery in Weymouth near his son’s grave where others would place an ornament in memory of a loved one.
Bink was predeceased by his parents Cornell and Phyllis (DePastene) Binkley and his son Christopher Binkley. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Binkley (Signorelli) of Rockland, his son Scott Binkley and his girlfriend Veronica (Bink’s Best Friend) of Rockland, his siblings Cindy Nagle, Sabena Finlayson and her husband Joe, Dana MacKinnon, Phillip Binkley and his wife Paula, and John Signorelli and his wife Patrice, and many loving nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his grand-dog Cooper.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Bink from 11-1pm on Friday, March 4, 2022 in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1pm followed by burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
