Marilyn Barker

Marilyn Barker (Mullins), age 84, of Weymouth passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. Marilyn was born, raised, and educated in Dorchester. She graduated Dorchester High in 1954 followed by marrying her husband, Robert, in 1957. They settled together in Weymouth where they have lived since and raised their family.

Although her first responsibility was always being a wife and mother, Marilyn also worked in Medical Records for over 20 years. Marilyn also enjoyed her time as a cub scout leader, playing and teaching piano, and cooking.

Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Barker. She is survived by her loving sons Gerald Barker of Weymouth and Michael Barker of Weymouth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Marilyn on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2-4pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq) Weymouth, MA. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home following the visitation at 4pm. Cremation will follow.
