Barbara A. Cullinan (Daley), age 83, of S. Weymouth passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Barbara was born and raised in Dorchester where she attended St. Margaret’s School and Monsignor Ryan Memorial High School, where she graduated in 1955.
Barbara married her husband Joseph in 1959 They started a family in Dorchester. They moved to S. Weymouth in 1972 where they have lived since. Barbara loved working as a special needs teacher’s aide for Weymouth Public Schools.
After retiring in 2001, Barbara gained an affinity for Bingo. She enjoyed spending time with family by her pool. Barbara was very social, and was fortunate enough to have many friends that she kept in touch with from childhood.
Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Cullinan. She is the loving mother of Linda Haas and her husband Gregory of E. Bridgewater, Nancy Garner and her husband Gerry of E. Bridgewater, and Carol Kenny and her husband John of Holbrook. She was the cherished grandmother of Joe, Meaghan, Erin, Shannon, and John; and great-grandmother to Cameron and Logan. Barbara is also the loving sister of Paul Daley of Brockton, and the late Bill Daley, Jack Daley, and Leo Daley.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Barbara on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 4-8pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home Wednesday Morning at 9am for a Celebration of Life prior to the funeral mass which will take place at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church located at 234 Pleasant St. Weymouth, MA 02190.
