Brenda Higgins

Brenda Higgins of Weymouth passed away peacefully on December 20, 2021, at the age of 76. Benda was born, raised, and educated in West Virginia Graduating from the Huntington High School with the class of 1962. Brenda started a family and moved to Weymouth in 1972. She worked with many different companies in accounting where she gave 100 percent every day she worked.

Brenda was an amazing woman with many interests and talents. She absolutely adored Irish culture, and everything associated with it. She cherished many memories from the trip she took to Ireland. She took great pride in decorating her house, baking for her neighbors, and volunteering at the Brockton VA hospital doing what she could to support our veterans. Above all else Brenda was a kind woman with a big heart. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Brenda was the devoted mother of Cindy Spencer, her husband Steven of Abington and their children Sarah and Sean, David Curtis and his wife Susan of S. Boston and their children Samantha, Nicholas, and Spencer. Brenda also leaves behind her Brother Allen Osgood and his wife Anne of Phoenix AZ.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Brenda on Monday, January 3, 2022, from 4-6pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visiting hours at 6pm in the funeral home.
