Elaine Bonsey

Elaine E. (Lundgren) Bonsey, 85, of Brockton, MA died peacefully on December 16th, 2021 at Seasons Hospice in Milton.

Elaine was born on November 7, 1936 in Boston, MA. She was the daughter of Alfred and Ellen (Feeney) Lundgren.

Elaine lived and worked most of her life in and around the Town of Weymouth. She attended Weymouth Schools and graduated from Weymouth High School in 1954. She retired from Shaws Supermarket in Weymouth and moved to elderly housing on Earle St., Brockton where she lived for many years and enjoyed the company of her neighbors there.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, John “Jack” Lundgren. She is survived by her brother, Alfred Lundgren of Florida, and three children, including Keith Spain and his wife Paula of South Weymouth, as well as five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

At Elaine’s request there will be no services. Her ashes will be laid to rest with her parents on Mount Hermon in South Weymouth. Donations in memory of Elaine can be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.
