Robert S. Chandler of Weymouth passed away on December 19, 2021, at the young age of 56. Robert was raised and educated in Weymouth and was a member of the Weymouth South graduating class of 1984.
Robert was a man of many talents and had a true passion for music. He loved to attend concerts and was the sole reason his nieces and nephews have an appreciation of classic rock. Robert was a kind man with a big heart and above all else cherished the time he was able to spend with his family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Robert was the beloved son of the late David Chandler and his wife Maureen Chandler (Spence). Robert leaves behind his siblings Stephen Chandler and Eileen of Hanover, Stacey Callahan of Rockland, Patricia Chandler of South Weymouth, Linda and Timothy Williams of Norwell, Kathleen and Michael Ouellette of Rockland. He was a rock star uncle to Colin and Kevin Chandler, Drew, Zach and Molly Callahan, Shane Considine, CJ and Walter Williams, and Adelaide, Cecelia and Margaret Ouellette.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Robert on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. Relatives and friends will join in the funeral home at 9am Tuesday for a Celebration of Life prior to the funeral mass which will take place at St. Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth at 10am. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Weymouth.
