Charles “Chuck” Batchman passed away suddenly on December 7, 2021, at the age of 62. Chuck
was born in Colorado and quickly moved to Marshfield MA where he was raised and educated. Chuck
graduated Marshfield High with the class of 1977. After graduating joined the United States Navy and
proudly served for four years. Once he fulfilled his military duty Chuck came home and began working
construction. He met his wife Michelle and started a family, settling in Weymouth where he has lived
since.
Chuck was a man of many crafts and hobbies. He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed forging
knives and various other metal creations. Chuck would scuba dive in the summer off the coasts of
Marshfield and Duxbury bringing home, sometimes too many lobsters for the family. Chuck cherished the
memories of his Sunday drives, various trips north and vacations with his family. Above all else Chuck
was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend to all. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Chuck was the beloved son of Bob and Barbara Batchman. He was the loving husband of
Michelle Batchman, father of Justin Batchman of Weymouth, and Alexis Batchman of Weymouth,
Michael Batchman, his fiancé Angale and their children A.J. and Amanda of Tennessee. Chuck was the
brother of the late William Batchman, Brenda Stazinski of Douglas, Cindy Farley of Foxboro, and the late
