Hazel Brunelle

Hazel Brunelle (Barnett), age 98, of Kingston and formerly of Weymouth passed away after an illness on Friday, December 3, 2021. Hazel was born in Berlin, NH then, when her parents passed at a young age, was taken in by family also in New Hampsire. She married her husband, Robert Brunelle, in 1944 and they started a family in Dorchester prior to settling in Weymouth where she stayed and raised her family.

Hazel worked for Keystone Company in Quincy for awhile before many years with the Braintree Electric Light Dept. where she retired from in 1982.

Hazel loved reading, her family, and always enjoyed keeping her yard and home in pristine condition.

Hazel was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Brunelle. She is survived by her loving sons Ronald Brunelle of Rockland and Bruce Brunelle and his wife Linda of Plymouth, her cherished grandchildren Bonnie, and Gregory, and her great-grandchildren Jack, Riley, and Viktor.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Hazel on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 5-8pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. A private Funeral Service will take place for the family at a later date followed by burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
