Irene G. (Jacobsen) Kaiser of Weymouth, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the age of 91.
Irene is predeceased by her husband, Jesse A. Kaiser. She was the loving mother of David Kaiser of Weymouth and the late, Glenn E. Kaiser. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Edith (Finch) and Jacob Jacobsen, she is also predeceased by her siblings, Edythe Bielefeldt, Ernestine Kirsch and brother Norman Jacobsen.
Irene was born in Randolph and was a longtime Weymouth resident. She was an active and longtime member of the South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene who even worked as a janitor at the original Church of the Nazarene in Quincy for 10 years. She delighted in painting and crafts, had a deep appreciation for nature and animals. Irene also loved to vacation in New Hampshire with her sons and had many trips to Florida where she visited family and friends.
Above all else, Irene’s faith and her love for her family was the most important things in her life. She started both of her sons working at an early age to show them work ethic that still shows true to this day.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Irene on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 4:30 – 7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday Morning at 10am in the the South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene located at 385 Ralph Talbot St. Weymouth, MA 02190. Burial will follow in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree.
