Francis "Peter" D'Angelo

Francis “Peter” D’Angelo, age 70, of Braintree passed away with loving family by his side on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Peter was raised and educated in New York. After attending Northeastern University, he worked for Stone and Webster where his interest in the stock market began. Peter became a stockbroker and worked for Cantella and Co. for over 20 years retiring in 2012. He also worked for the Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge for over 20 years where he was awarded “employee of the year.”

Peter married his beloved wife, Patricia, in 1982 before settling in Braintree where they created so many fond memories over the years. Peter was an avid skier, a talented self-taught musician, a soccer player, and a Patriots fan. Above all else, Peter loved spending time with his family of whom he was proud.

Peter is survived by his beloved wife Patricia D’Angelo (Warren) of Braintree, his loving son Nick D’Angelo and his wife Katie of Wrentham. Peter is also the brother of Michael D’Angelo and his wife Jill of Norwell and Anne Marie Kenny and her late husband Michael of Hull. He is also survived by sister-in-law Kathy and husband Pat of Taunton and brother-in-law Jerry and wife Bonnie of Arlington.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Peter on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 3-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to www.PulmonaryFibrosis.org.
