Anne Lantz

d. October 24, 2021

Anne Lantz of Brockton passed away peacefully in her home on October 24, 2021, at the age of 78. Anne was born in Boston and raised in the Wollaston near the beach. She was educated at Archbishop Williams class of '61. After graduating Anne started her family in Mattapan before finally moving to Brockton. As a stay at home mom, Anne enjoyed being a brownie leader, parent-teacher associate and worked on State and Local Political campaigns. Once re-entering the work force, she was a licensed real estate broker, office manger for multiple companies and excelled as an account manager at the New England Telephone Company. Her deep faith in Jesus as her Savior held her strong through out her life.

Anne was most known for her loving and compassionate hospitality, athleticism, travel and creative sewing, ceramics and gardening. As a child Anne and her family were recognized often for fishing championships. Anne’s fun nature made her tough to beat in Scrabble and Cribbage. Above all else Anne was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, auntie and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Anne was the cherished mother of Kim Paulin and her husband Eddie of Weymouth and Kellie Lantz of Weymouth. She was the dedicated grandmother of Ben, Nicole and Dan and the great grandmother of Lily-Grace. Anne was the sister of the late Dick MacNeil and his wife Maureen MacNeil of Cotuit, the late Steve MacNeil and his wife Barbara MacNeil of Weymouth, Joan Young of Braintree, Susan MacNeil of Weymouth, Ellen Simmons of Hingham and also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to A Celebration of Life at Community Baptist Church on Mutton Lane in Weymouth, Saturday, 10/30 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne’s memory to the Massachusetts ME/CFS & FM Association @massmecfs.org (Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia) or Massachusetts Citizens For Life @masscitizensforlife.org.

For those who would like to reminisce with us over lunch, details will be provided Saturday.
