Albert E. Fruzzetti, age 89, of S. Weymouth passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Albert was born and raised in Quincy graduating Quincy High in 1951. Immediately after school he joined the Navy serving during the Korean War. Albert married his beloved wife, Joanne, in 1954. They started a family in Quincy then settled in Weymouth in 1969 where they have lived since. Albert worked for New England Telephone for 38 years.

Albert was very active in the Standish and Satucket Sportman's Associations and acted as a delegate for the Plymouth County League of Sportsman for many years. He was also a competitive pistol shooter.

Albert was the beloved husband of 67 years to Joanne Fruzzetti (Arseneault) of S. Weymouth, son of the late Albert and Catherine Fruzzetti (Landrey), loving father of Sheryl Briggs and her husband Burton of Rockland, Shirley MacLeod and her husband Thomas of Abington, Joyce Hochstrasser and her husband Ross of Whitman, and James Fruzzetti and his wife Judith of E. Bridgewater, grandfather to eleven, and great-grandfather to thirteen. He is also the brother of the late Paul Fruzzetti, John, William, Nancy Marini, Charles, Robert, Michael, Alan, and Laurel.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Albert on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 9-11am in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 11am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations may be made to the Fisher House which benefits military families at www.FisherHouse.org.
