Abina A. Sullivan

Abina A. Sullivan (Mahoney), age 76, of Weymouth passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021. Bina was born and raised in Dorchester which she affectionately referred to as “God’s Country”. She married her beloved husband Daniel in 1965 and they settled in Weymouth where they raised a family and have lived since. Bina loved the beach and spent countless relaxing days at Nantasket Beach throughout her life.

Abina was predeceased by her husband Daniel J. Sullivan. She is survived by her loving children Scott Sullivan and his wife Kelly of Bridgewater and Daniel Sullivan of Weymouth, her five cherished grandchildren, and her two great-grandchildren. She is also the sister of Helen Coleman and the late Mary Tobin.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Bina on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 8:30-9:30am in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq) Weymouth, MA. A Funeral Mass will take place immediately following the visitation at 10am in the St. Albert the Great Church located at 1140 Washington St. Weymouth, MA. Burial will immediately follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.ALZ.org/donate.
